Book Review 2:The Red Pyramid

Introduction
The Red Pyramid is the new sequel to the Rick Riordan's best selling series:The Percy Jackson series .Percy Jackson fought Greek Gods but now the Egyptian Gods are rising in the modern world. When Carter and Sadie meet each other again which they do only once every year their father brings them to a museum where some strange happenings happen .Their father had apparently released a god not any god but Osiris the god of the dead and also the evil god Setwithout knowing he had also set free three other gds that were born on the Demon days from the Rosetta Stone.
My favourite characters
They are Sadi and Carter because they made a great team with Carter having fighting skils and Sadie doing the magic and with a hint of sarcasm and puns they made me laugh a lot. They together with Bast the cat goddess travelled around trying to save the world from Set who was being controlled by Apoththis unknowingly.Apoththis is the Evil snake Demon who tried to destroy the whole world
The Plot
Brother and sister ,Sadie and Carter had the blood of egyptian pharoahs of two different royal families in the past ,Which makes them extremely powerful and they are also hosting gods in them which makes them highli sought after as there are many people who wants to kill them. With their newly learnt skills and the truth about their background they battle Set the evil god and save the world
In conclusion this is a must read for anyone who likes percy jackson and humor ,laughs and intense action.

The poem

My Schooldays
I would always think back
About those happy times we had together
Whenever I pass that stretch of road

How we joked ,played,chatted
The times where we would tease the girls
Embarass the teachers going home

But now whenever I walk pass that stretch of road
It is sad and lonely
No more sounds of laughter
No more shrieks of denial from the girls
No more fierce denials of protest of
My friend's crush

But I would always cherish
Those fun times we had together
when we meet up again lets have a good laugh

Home Learning Class 2

The writer was actually recalling the good times he had during his school days and what would happen on some of the days and specific moments of his school life that stand out.

Thinking back I would share the same thoughts as how me and my bunch of friends would play ,talk laugh tease each other have a chat with the girls ,jooke around ,making witty retorts.Well I miss all of these and of course there are some moments which I would cherish but of course sadly I am still hounding my primary school teacher for that class party.

Reading on a long long journey home

To those who disagree with me by stating that they do not have to travel long distances and so will never experience it.Well for those unfortunate people they can try doing it when they are travelling to far away places.Well for people who follow this blog closely, you will know it has been quite a while since I last posted so I hope you do not mind as I have been busy as well as the fact that I had lost my password to this blog, so to the topic reading on your journey home. Most people may disagree do have long journeys home and feel very tired when they get home, a great example would be me.Most people would rather play games on their phones ,sleep asthey had a tough day at school or maybe chat with their friends on the bus or whateverform of public transport they may takebut for me reading a good book always re energises me up no matter how tired I feel I would continue reading as I would have already been immersed in the story world where a world of suspense, horror, adventure awaits me. I would just keep on reading till I get to my destination.People out there might ask me why read why don't you just get some sleep.Well my answer to that I would prefer to read as it keeps me awake ,although I may get tired for the lack of sleep but if I go to sleep I may forget to wake up at my destination and it can be embarassing to have people waking you up at any point of time during a bus ride. But do not think that I am reading so that to avoid giving up my seat to the people who need it more,I do keep a lookout by for old folks or pregnant women. For those interested you can try this out.

Similarities and differences between Lamb to the Slaughter and The Way up to Heaven

The similarities between these two stories are that both husbands made their wives angry by their actions. This caused their wives to murder them. Both their wives also loved them a lot before.

The differences between these two stories are that one MrsFoster planned the2 murder of her husband very carefully by trapping him in the lift and then going off to her vacation to visit her grandchildren then she will not be accused of being the murderer as people will probably think that the lift broke down and there was no one to help him out but however in Mary Maloney's case she was there and she murdured him out of sheer anger. So there is still a possibility of her being the murdurer thats why she established an alibi for herself.
