Objective:Conduct an interview with a friend(not from HCI)or family member.Find out his/her opinions about crime and punishment or the necessity to communicate in a relationship.Record the interview or write out the interview transcript.

I interviewd my friend Gladis Chua from NJC.She is my primary school classmate. She was my last hope as most of my other friends were reluctant to cooperate with me .She was a bit reluctant but with a bit of coaxing she agreed.A million thanks to her for helping me.Here is the interview transcript.

Tan:Hi

Gladis:Hi

Gladis:I think crime is something that can be prevented by punishment

Tan :What aboutpunishment,Whatdo you think about punishment

Gladis :Its important

Tan:Why is it important??

Gladis:Punishmenbt is also important because without it people will not hesitate to commit crimes if they want to.

Similarities and differences between Lamb to the Slaughter and The Way up to Heaven

The similarities between these two stories are that both husbands made their wives angry by their actions. This caused their wives to murder them. Both their wives also loved them a lot before.

The differences between these two stories are that one MrsFoster planned the2 murder of her husband very carefully by trapping him in the lift and then going off to her vacation to visit her grandchildren then she will not be accused of being the murderer as people will probably think that the lift broke down and there was no one to help him out but however in Mary Maloney's case she was there and she murdured him out of sheer anger. So there is still a possibility of her being the murdurer thats why she established an alibi for herself.
